RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE
President - Republic of the Philippines
Malacañang Palace, MANILA

Dear Mr. President,

Good day Mr. President, I am writing this letter to protest about the K-12 curriculum that had been approved last 2013 in the Philippines and started the first batch of Senior High School last 2016.

I truly think that this is a bad idea. For as I see that the very first batch who graduated from senior high school and the present senior high students are facing into a very complicated situation. I think that the first batch who graduated were called as "experimental batch" because in the beginning during the orientation of K-12 curriculum they said that "GAS" (General Academic Strand) is for those who are still undecided on what course they will be taking in colleges from the word general they said that if you chose it as your strand you'll be able to take any course that you want. But then now many senior high graduates are complaining especially those who chose GAS as their strand, many of them has been crying because some universities are not allowing them to enroll to their dream course or job specially the medical field because they are saying that medical field is only preferably to STEM students. I am against this because many dreams can be shattered. And maybe the problem of this students or their parents is that because of lack of money.

Please do something about this. Let's make the student dreams come true.

Sincerely yours,

MARINEL R. ABUY
